well that was fun. i run a 275$ order. get to the end and the lady says "oh, damn. i meant for you to do subtotals. i only have 200$". after about 30 minutes of fuss we fixed it. it actually didnt bother me that much but it was kinda fun not to have to deal with other people. anyhow i finished the night with a really nice customer. before she left she wanted to tell me what my name meant literally. apparently it means "Bear" or great physical and mental strength. i kinda like that.

so yesterday i went hiking with katy. the river was really low so i was able to retrieved a stick from the current. i soaked my shoes and socks. i then made squishy noises for the next few hours. wet shoes are awesome. we stumbled upon a heron and some crawfish. also a few large trout under water were really easy to spot. i wish i'd had a fishing pole. you could go really far out because of the water level. i plan on climbing some of the bigger rocks in the middle later next week i think. should be fun.

today i was hosed by my employeer who broke policy by making me go 3 hours without a break. i would be mad but then i got home and found a complete Zeromancer discography. YES!

just got back from Yellowstone. im doing this as i remember it so be warned: i wander. set out at 8 am. it was cloudy on the way but cleared up not long after we got there. im not sure where the clouds disappear to; they just sort of vanish. we went to all the usual scenic spots. ran into a very lazy buffalo. my mom worried it might get us. we just laughed. then the buffalo charged us! naw. it just laid there on the other side of the road. cool none the less. we also saw caribu and other cool stuff.

oh and the wolves! we stopped in west yellowstone, which is before the actual state park. they had bears and wolves. well they were in a pen but they were very cool, they all howled at a car. the bear was pretty lazy. it was rubbing its butt on a rock when we got there. i dont think ill ever complain about TP. they also had a stuffed polar bear. it was HUGE, we are talking 10 or 11 ft tall if it stood on its hind legs. scary! before i left i got gifts for everyone. except keith. i still dont know what sort of souvenir he'd like.

back to the main trip?
so we saw Old Faithful. eh, was cool but overhyped. lol. stood there for a while waiting. i've never seen such a big crowd. you'd have thought there was a dancing singing chimp in the middle that could do an awesome jessica simpson impression (jessica simpson. blah).

well sorta..
the waterfall was the best part. it was awesome. it was very tall. nothing quite like a majestic waterfall. the water flows down, crashes, then continues down a deep ravine. its considered the grand canyon of yellowstone. the cliffs were a very impressive array of colors. a certain painter said the beauty was unpaintable.

so i finished the catalog friday. becca, maggie, and keith came over and we watched a movie. that was interesting. i think keith was violated many times lol.

yesterday i had fun at work. 2-11 closing shifts suck. my manager gave me a 5 3 split (5 hours with one break before lunch, then 3 hours with one break after). she isnt suppose to but she does it anyway. meh.

i found out i work monday and tuesday. jokes on them because i get holiday pay at 2.5 x normal pay rate. thats $19.25 an hour. haha. who's laughing now! well still them because i wanted a day off but they will pay a high price for it. oh well. i'm off wednesday and thursday.

this morning i briefly fiddled with the catalog again. my mom couldn't figure out how to print it (it was doing strange things with the layout). anyhow my friend from Seattle came over for a bit. we play some games 'n stuff. it was fun, though i wish she could have stayed longer. anyhow i'll be going to work pretty soon so i better start getting things in order. 5:30-10. yay!
